GOALLL!!! We were delighted to have the Hall family join LEGOLAND® Florida Resort's kickoff event as some of the very first guests to experience the FIFA® World Cup 2026 Experience ⚽

Siblings Maverick, Harrison and Liam helped make the opening truly special. As passionate football fans, the opportunity to be part of such a significant moment in both football and LEGOLAND® history was an unforgettable experience for the entire family.

For Maverick and Harrison, who both live with haemophilia, carefree days of active play are not always possible. Being able to step onto the pitch, take on challenges and simply enjoy being kids alongside their family made the experience especially meaningful.

We are incredibly grateful to Kids Wish Network and LEGOLAND Florida for helping create this special memory and for making moments like these possible. 💙

Seven-year-old Bashaar enjoyed a special day of play at Official LEGOLAND Windsor earlier this April, visiting with his sister, mum and dad. Through our partnership with Young Lives vs Cancer , Bashaar’s Magical Day Out was filled with joyful moments - especially on the NINJAGO® ride, where he proudly beat his family!

Bashaar is supported with palliative care for neuroblastoma, and while the day began slowly after he felt unwell on the journey, a little time to explore, play and enjoy the adventure helped him feel like a kid again. By the end of the day, the smiles - and the winning score - said it all 🩵

From our brave teams at The Amsterdam Dungeon and Madame Tussauds Amsterdam tackling Mud Masters , to our fearless York crew diving headfirst into Tough Mudder , colleagues across Merlin Entertainments attractions are getting seriously muddy for a magical cause.

Climbing, crawling, slipping and laughing their way through it - all to help children facing illness, disability or adversity experience unforgettable moments of play 💫

A Roarsome day for Romeo!

Romeo is a big animal lover, with a curious mind and a brilliant sense of humour - so Chessington World of Adventures Resort was the perfect setting for his Magical Day Out! 🦒

Romeo is receiving palliative care for a heart condition and relies on a wheelchair and portable oxygen due to fatigue and breathlessness. From the moment Romeo arrived, the Chessington team were ready - creating a roarsome VIP experience designed entirely around him. 🫶

For a family navigating appointments, routines and constant complexity, it was a pause. A breath. A chance to come together through play.

And for Romeo, it meant something beautifully simple. The chance to just be a little boy - laughing, learning, and lost in moments of pure joy 🩵

Earlier in May, our incredible Gardaland volunteers brought the spirit of Merlin’s Magic Wand to the heart of Verona during the 24th edition of Le Piazze dei Sapori.

Together with Gardaland’s beloved mascot Prezzemolo, volunteers connected with visitors, raised funds, shared our mission, and spread joy throughout the weekend 🌟

A huge thank you to the Gardaland team for creating so much magic for children who need it most 🫶

This International Day of Families, we’re celebrating the power of togetherness and the magic of shared moments. After a challenging year following her cancer diagnosis, 10-year-old Devon and her family enjoyed a special day at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, creating joyful memories and much-needed smiles.

Natalie, aged nine, had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and shared her wish to stay overnight at LEGOLAND Billund Resort. Planned for the end of March 2026, Natalie sadly passed away before her Magical Day Out could take place.

In honor of Natalie, her family travelled to LEGOLAND Billund Resort once her funeral had taken place, bringing along her favorite teddy in memory. The thoughtful team at LEGOLAND arranged special moments, including a family meal with Natalie’s beloved teddy sharing a seat at the table.

Natalie’s father shared: “We did a lot of the things that we think she would have loved and we enjoyed it too. Unfortunately, as my wife has cancer too, so she did not participate in the rollercoaster rides because of pain and fear of getting sick.

Choosing the most magical moment is hard to pick but I actually think it was in the restaurants where Pikachu (Natalie’s teddy) got a child seat so he could sit beside us like Natalie would. The staff were so sweet.”

Thank you to the Schoppe Family for sharing their story, and to the team at LEGOLAND Billund for helping us create such a special visit in honor of Natalie.

Join us in cheering on our amazing Merlin Entertainments Property team as they train for their Three Peaks Challenge this June! They’re taking on this incredible feat to raise funds for a brand‑new Magic Space, inspired by Alton Towers , at Over The Wall camp in Derbyshire.
This space will give children living with long‑term health conditions the chance to play, explore and just be kids - something not always possible in everyday life 🩵
