Skylarks Charity Skylarks is a charity based in Richmond supporting children and young people who have additional needs and their families.

We are independent - anyone from anywhere is welcome. We are open at the Crossway Centre every Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning in term time. We also offer holiday activities and a wide range of services virtually via Zoom. We also have a range of pre-recorded videos for adults and children. Next week, our amazing Skylarks Zipwire team will be taking on the challenge at Allianz (Twickenham) Stadium! ๐Ÿงก

Theyโ€™re stepping out of their comfort zones, taking on the zipwire and fundraising to support children and young people with additional needs and their families.

Theyโ€™ve taken on the challenge, now letโ€™s get behind them! ๐Ÿงก Every donation, big or small, will help them reach their fundraising goal and support Skylarks families.

๐ŸŽ’ Helping our families get ready for the new school year! ๐Ÿงก

A huge thank you to Sky Up for supporting Skylarks for the second year running with their Back to School bags and for supporting our brilliant Digital Hub at our Hounslow centre.

It was lovely to see the smiles and excitement these bags brought to our children and families, helping them feel ready for the new school year.

For families of children with SEND, the costs of preparing for a new school year can quickly add up. Support like this helps ease some of that pressure, while our Digital Hub provides an additional source of support for local families.

After months of training, theyโ€™ve taken on 1,910m of climbing and made it all the way to the summit.

A huge thank you to eBay UK for your continued support of Skylarks!

We were delighted to be part of eBay UKโ€™s annual Impact Day, and are so grateful to the eBay team that gave their valuable time to support our community and for making such a meaningful difference to us. ๐Ÿงก

As part of the day, Team eBay created wonderful goodie bags for Skylarks children including a beautiful handmade teddy for each child. It was fabulous to see the smiles on the children's faces as they received these gifts - eBayโ€™s time and generosity is making a difference and bringing joy.

Anna is our Family Support and Information Officer, she supports thousands of our young people with additional needs through our free inclusive activities and holiday programmes.

This October, Anna is taking on an incredible 14-day trek to Everest Base Camp, reaching 5,364m. Every penny raised will go directly to Skylarks! Our hero!! Thank you Anna for everything you do for our community. ๐Ÿงก

Harmanpreet is taking on the challenge because she believes in Skylarks work supporting children with additional needs, with or without a diagnosis, and their siblings. With two children with additional needs and a third son awaiting an ASD assessment, she understands how difficult it can be to access support while waiting for a diagnosis.
