has recently launched the Sip Happens report and I was very kindly invited to the launch to check out the findings (while getting to taste the newly launch Nastro Azzurro 0.0) They were exactly what I expected which I think is encouraging✨

It suggests that a more mindful approach to socialising (hello, saunas and run clubs) and to what we have in our glass is here to stay✨

It discovered that Millennials and Gen Z’s drinking habits are defined by selectiveness. What this shows a more mindful and considered to going out than previous generations. 3 in 4 Gen Z’s and Millennials say they’re making everyday choices more mindfully✨

Here are some other fun facts👇🏼

1.In 2025 the AF b**r and low AF b**r category grew by 25% in value, b**r in contrast grew by just 2.9%✨

2.Asahi’s UK research found that 2 in 3 Gen Z’s and Millennials reach for alcohol free whilst catching up with friends✨

3.72% of Millennials go for low or no alcohol free drinks to keep a clear head or avoid hangovers✨

4.Taste is the number 1 motivator for Gen Z’s and Millennials when selecting an AF drink✨

5.The functional drinks category has grown by 54% in the last year from stats published from Ocado✨

Essentially 0.0% is here to stay. To me this category is important as it helps drive more positive choices and makes not drinking alcohol more socially acceptable while still driving quality and taste🥂

There’s something interesting about stepping away from alcohol for 30 days.

Not in a dramatic “new personality” way. But in a clarity way.

You start noticing how much of drinking was rhythm, not desire.
How much time it took.
How different your baseline mood feels.

And perhaps most unexpectedly, how capable you feel when you’re consistently clear-headed.

A 30-day break isn’t a life decision. It’s a data-collection exercise.

If you’ve ever been curious, consider this your sign to experiment!

Would you try 30 days - or have you already?
