3 Little Birds Playhub is a safe, non-judgemental space for Black mothers and children to come together, connect, share experiences, socialise, relax and learn through play.
3 Little Birds Playhub was founded by 2 mothers who bonded over their passion for learning and play in the Early Years. They came together to create a culturally diverse space where children would be able to develop a strong
sense of identity and belonging from a young age. Both mothers wanted to ensure that children would have opportunities to play with other children that look like them and that they felt comfortable in an environment where people from Black communities are reflected and represented.
3 Little Birds Playhub also provides an opportunity for mothers from similar backgrounds to form friendships, seek advice and support each other upon their motherhood journeys. The focus for the 3 Little Birds Playhub is to support Black mothers with children under 5, however everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of race or gender.
3 Little Birds Playhub runs every other Thursday, 11am-2pm. Each session there are a variety of activities including sand, water, sensory, arts & crafts and role play for children, while light refreshments are available for adults.
