It is the strong symbolic value of many different paths Albanian people have experienced on building they lives in UK. As such, every footprint matters in supporting the future for the children who are proud to present they heritage and belonging to Albanian community. The project founder Sanda Eglite and her team has been inspired by incredible resilience of local Albanian families showing suppor

t by launching an afterschool club in Hampton, dedicated to Albanian children and families living in Richmond Upon Thames and the surroundings. It is an ambition to see our local children and families to come together to explore and promote the rich history, traditions and values in our local community setting. The project aim is to engage and create an inclusive, nurturing and sustainable network for all Albanian children to explore they ethnic traditions, language and history and to serve as inspiration for wider community to achieve greater all-around social wellbeing of living in diverse and respectful society. The team and community of ‘Gjurmë Iliriane’ is supported by volunteers and qualified teachers. Our team is looking forward to engage in developing the stronger bond in exploring the traditions and language of Albanian heritage that will promote children curiosity and intellectual development through the age-appropriate activities and tasks. On behalf of the local Albanian community, we would like to send our thanks of appreciation to everyone supporting our project so far. We look forward to your suggestions, comments and proposals.
