A fascinating walk around Marylebone last Tuesday, finding out about the social history of the area; from slums, workhouses,grave robbers, ragged schools and the philanthropists who tried to improve conditions to Harley Street, Portland Place and the mews where the Profumo scandal errupted. Ending at the BBC.

A wonderful evening spent on The Walton Lady on the Thames for our Summer Party and 15th Birthday Celebration.
From Teddington to Hampton Court and back, we all had a lovely time together!

Heartfelt thanks to the team from Kingston Samaritans for coming to talk to Teddington WI last night; ' de- bunking the myth 'about the vital work that they do in our local community and nationwide. Helping us to think about what factors introduce unbearable stress into people's lives ,how to notice when others might be in need of support and what makes a good listener.
Presented in an open ,friendly, accessible way.Thank you for coming.

What a fantastic day at the Twickenham Mayfair on Twickenham Green this Bank Holiday Monday! ☀️🍰🎟️

Despite the scorching heat, Teddington WI’s cake and tombola stall was a huge success, raising an amazing profit of over £730 for our group.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful members who baked, donated, organised, and helped out on the day — it truly was a fantastic team effort. We’re so grateful to everyone who supported us and stopped by the stall.
