The campaign aims to raise awareness and drive action to end violence against women and girls, and serves as a reminder of the effects of gender inequality and discrimination.

Women and girls have the right to live without fear of violence. GBV, whether physical or digital, can be prevented; we must all act to ensure that it is.

On the occasion of and MTV Staying Alive Foundation’s 27th Anniversary, we urge everyone to be more intentional about “overcoming disruption, and transforming the AIDS response”, as the world pushes towards sustained political leadership, international cooperation, and human-rights-centered approaches to end AIDS by 2030.
