On behalf of the 10,000 Interns Foundation, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your engagement and participation in the pilot and two full cycles of the 10,000 Able Interns programme. As you know, the initiative aimed to create paid internship opportunities for Disabled students and graduates across the UK, modelled on our flagship programme 10,000 Black Interns. We are thrilled to report that the programme resulted in a resounding 300 internships!â¨
Weâre incredibly proud of the programmeâs achievements, but as we approach our Jubilee Year (achieving our original goal of providing 10,000 internships) and look forward to the next decade, weâre taking a strategic pause to maximise our impact for the future. This means carefully evaluating the 10,000 Able Interns programme to understand its successes and how we can best support our Disabled interns and alumni going forwards.
