Friends of Upper Norwood Rec

13/10/2026

Hi, I wanted to share something meaningful for Millie, Buster, Sally, and Ruby, four beautiful furry friends who were part of the same pack and were lost in such quick succession. We’re raising funds for a rowan tree and memorial plaque at Upper Norwood Recreation Ground, a lasting tribute to the protection, courage, and love they brought into our lives. Any funds beyond the memorial costs will go directly to Friends of Upper Norwood Recreation Ground, who kindly helped make this possible. If you’d like to help create this memorial, please donate through the GoFundMe page or share it with someone who knew and loved them. 🐾

Hi I'm raising funds for the memorial of our lost furry friends. It all started… Sarah Samuel needs your support for Donate for memorial for our furry friends

Hi Reccers, as you might have heard, it’s our Friends group’s 4th birthday this month! 🥳

⭐️ ⭐️ Could _you_ be a star and make a donation to our group as a birthday gift to help us buy a much-needed storage unit? 😍 Any and every size donation will help us! 💰 ⭐️ ⭐️

It’s now essential for us to purchase a larger secure storage unit for our tools and equipment, as we’ve outgrown our little shed - thanks to all the good work happening regularly on the Rec 🙏

💝 You can donate using this link: https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/QIAQMPUW

We really hope you can help and do pop along for our birthday bulb planting bonanza next Sunday 10.30-12.30pm if you’re around! We’d love to see you there for as little or as long as you like 🤗

With trees & love,
