As Chair of the and former carer for my Mum, I'd like to invite you to join my 7th annual Memory Walk on 18 October 2025, in support of the Alzheimer's Society.

This is a free guided walk around the award-winning Park, and is open to anyone to attend. We aim to raise awareness of Dementia, to support people living with dementia, their carers and anyone else who wants to see a

The walk will start at 11am so please arrive between 10:30 and 11am for registration.
The meeting/registration point is the Boathouse in Alexandra Park, Oldham, OL4 2QB - https://www.oldham.gov.uk/info/200275/parks/676/alexandra_park

The nearest parking for anyone travelling by car is the Queens Road Car Park, however, there is also parking at The Hub and Alexandra Road Car Park, for anyone who wants to walk through the park or around the lake before they join.

Recognition of Palestine is welcome, it comes after tireless campaigning for many years.

We now need immediate action to end the genocide. That means widespread sanctions, a full arms embargo and a halt to trade in goods and services from illegal settlements.

***URGENT UPDATE***

Ahead of the UN General Assembly, and following the UK’s historic recognition of the *State of Palestine*, Bradford Labour Council today raised the Palestinian flag in *Bradford*, outside City Hall in recognition and in solidarity with the Palestinian people. We will do so again on *29th November 2025*, the UN International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

This is a gesture of hope—standing for dignity, humanity, and a just peace for all.
