re sitting on the inside of her leg causing immense pain with each step as her bones rub together as she walks. After my best friend and her family immigrated to the UK 6 years ago they couldn't afford insurance to cover pre-existing conditions as this issue was diagnosed as Prue went through her full medical check before she could immigrate to the UK with my best friend and her family, it was extremely minor at grade 1 and may have never presented an issue. Due to saving every Penny for their own immigration they were unable to save any money towards a potential surgery they may never need. Unfortunately this meant that when March 2020 rolled around they were left with no insurance, no cash reserves when the diagnosis of her condition rapidly deteriorated to a grade 3/4 Luxating Patella in both her legs and needed urgent medical intervention to help her walk without pain. My best friend started this campaign before Prue's first surgery, they are now 5 months post surgery on the left leg and 3 months post surgery on the right leg. The surgery bills for both legs come to £4000
The post surgery vet bills for medication is an additional cost each month up to £200 some months depending on the pain she is in and the change of pills as they are having to keep adjusting according to how Prue reacts to the medication. I am asking for my best and her beautiful little old girl Prue the Chihuahua for any help you can spare to cover the bare minimum cost of surgery, any donation no matter how small will be an incredible help! If you cannot donate, you can help by sharing this page and following her journey on instagram on Prue_the_chi
Thank you for taking this time to read, donate and share!
