Yesterday marked 6 years of sobriety for our Founder, Darren.

Today is a strong reminder of why Rise & Thrive was started; to put our efforts into ensuring our community doesn’t have to face unnecessary pain and suffering and encouraging everyone to work together to keep each other safe and well.

Darren healed from the pain and misery which kept him in addiction, transforming his life away from criminality and chaos to dedicate his efforts to support others not to follow the same path.

He is fortunate to be alive so today is a reminder that everyday is a blessing and the reason Darren is so passionate in pushing for change, goes above and beyond the call of duty to support child and families.

Whilst we celebrate his huge achievement and thank him for his commitment to his work in the community and supporting those in recovery, we hold space for those who we lost to addiction and to their families and friends 🙏❤️🙏
