Golden Heart is supporting children with cancer who are living at the Sunshine Hostel. Many of these children and their families are facing severe financial challenges—some struggle not only to afford treatment but also to meet basic needs such as daily meals.
We recently spoke with the dedicated caregiver in charge of the hostel, who shared the ongoing difficulty of providing adequate food for the children. The facility has a capacity of 50 beds, and it costs approximately GHS 42,000 each month to feed the children. Currently, only about GHS 9,000 is raised through contributions from a small group of friends and loved ones, leaving a significant gap.
We are therefore appealing for your support. These children are already battling cancer—together, we can help ease their burden by ensuring they have access to proper nutrition and care.
