💄✨ HAIR & BEAUTY DAY WOULDN’T BE THE SAME WITHOUT THEM! ✨💅

A HUGE shoutout to The Hygiene Bank, Twickenham for once again supporting our Annual Hair & Beauty Day! 🫶💜

Every year they help us stock up with makeup 💄, beauty supplies 💅, personal hygiene products 🧴 and loads more, giving young people the chance to try new things, learn new skills, build confidence ✨ and even take some essentials home with them 🛍️💖

But their support doesn’t stop when Hair & Beauty Day finishes… 💜🌟

Throughout the year, The Hygiene Bank, Twickenham continues to support PowerStation with sanitary products 🩷, toiletries 🚿, personal hygiene essentials 🧼 and even laundry pods 🧺 for the never-ending amount of washing we somehow produce! 😂🙌

From helping make special events possible 🎉 to quietly keeping us stocked with everyday essentials 🧴, their donations make a real difference to our young people all year round 💜 and help save us hundreds of 💷 so we can put more back into services for young people 👏✨

So a massive THANK YOU to the whole team at The Hygiene Bank, Twickenham for continuing to support PowerStation and our young people 💜🙏👏

Who needs a photo album when you’ve got a sketchbook? ✏️📖

We turned some of our favourite (so far) summer moments into artwork, and we think they look pretty cool. 😍

This week brings more activities so pop in Wednesday- Friday and Saturday is the last TEKKERS tournament of the summer at Heatham House for the Juniors.

This week not only marks Faith’s birthday, but also her last day at Achieving for Children. 💙

While we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we’re so grateful for everything she’s has done for PowerStation. From starting as a KickStart placement to becoming a valued and much-loved member of the team, Faith has played a huge part in supporting young people and helping PowerStation grow over the last five (or so!) years.

Her dedication, kindness and commitment have made a lasting impact on so many young people, families and colleagues. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to the centre—you’ve left your mark and tunes 🎶.

We wish you all the very best for your next adventure. Happy Birthday, good luck, and remember… this isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later. 💙🎉

A huge thank you to the students from Radnor House who really put in the 🎵 Work, work, work, work, work… 🎶 yesterday! 💪👏

They helped us get ready for our upcoming camping trip, created resources for games, making recipe cards for all year round cooking sessions, and giving our gym a well-deserved clean.

Thier Make a Difference Day is always a fantastic opportunity. Not only do many hands make light work, but it also gives students the chance to visit and learn more about the youth centres across Achieving for Children, seeing first-hand the positive spaces and opportunities available for young people.

🏳️‍🌈 Pride Month may have come to an end, but the conversations, support and celebration of LGBTQ+ young people continue all year round.

Pride isn’t just for June—it’s about creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued and able to be themselves, every single day.

Don’t forget that Achieving for Children runs , our LGBTQ+ youth group for young people, based at Heatham House and Hampton Youth Zone .

Because inclusion doesn’t end when the calendar changes. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

From homemade pizzas and smoothies to sweet & sour chicken, enchiladas, hot dogs, mac & cheese and plenty of sweet treats 🍓🧁🌭🧀… there’s something to look forward to every week!
