Share and Care Collective is a UK registered charity and community food resource covering SW13 & SW14 in London.

We help families with children in eight local primary schools, delivering weekly bags full of food, toiletries and cleaning products.

We have been able to offer food bags to our families over the summer holidays thanks to additional funding from Asda. We’re so pleased we can continue to support those that need it over the school holidays. Thank you

Bringing to a close another school year and another jam packed term. We are, as ever, grateful to everyone that helps us achieve our goal of supporting local families. We have grown even more this year and now cover 50 families via eight local primary schools. Our logistics have been tested but thank you to all our donators and our volunteers who make it all possible. Our summer bags are back so contact us for more information via the link in the bio. We are incredibly lucky to be supported by a number of organisations in the local community.

The Richmond Park, *Ahmadiyya Women’s Association* has been supporting Share & Care every month since we started during the Covid lockdown. Earlier this year, they visited us on a Thursday morning to witness the organised chaos of one of our packing sessions! Last Saturday they invited us to their annual Peace Symposium at the Baitul Futuh Mosque where we heard from a number of speakers on the subject of peace through love, justice and equality. Women attended from across the country and we learnt about other charities that they support and about the Aisha Maternity Hospital which they are currently building in Sierra Leone. Our visit included a tour of the Mosque and the evening ended with a wonderful dinner. It was a lovely opportunity to spend time with Faiza and Humaira who have been such a great support to us and we are all looking forward to continuing working together in the future. 🌸

Thank you to Tina Roehampton, continually supportive of the Share and Care Collective, Tina introduced us to the Asda Foundation who have just awarded us a grant of £1000! Tina came in person to present the very large cheque and meet some of our amazing volunteers. ❤️❤️🙏🙏

We are delighted that Share and Care Collective has been selected to take part in the Tesco Stronger Starts Blue Token campaign, where customers vote in-store for their preferred charity. 🔵🔵🔵 Voting is across Tesco stores in the borough of Richmond with blue token boxes. We are very grateful to Tesco for giving us this fantastic opportunity. A big effort could see us awarded as much as £1,500, which would make an enormous difference to our work. Please vote! 🙏🙏

This week we said goodbye to three of our Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) volunteers. Izzy, Jack and Nell doing their Silver DofE Award completed 26 hours of volunteering over the last 6 months.

DofE volunteers are an integral part of Share and Care and we could not be more grateful to all that have volunteered over the years. If you, or someone you know is doing their Bronze, Silver or Gold Award and would like to volunteer, please do get in touch.
