Whether it’s the ethical, environmental, health, or religious aspects of a plant-based diet that have brought you to our doorstep, all individuals are welcomed with open arms. The aim of VegSoc is to provide our members with an open-minded space to engage in non-judgemental discussions and increase their knowledge of topics such as plant-based food, sustainability, and animal ethics (to name just

a few!). Tolerance and compassion run deep within our society, and manifest in everything that we do. Becoming involved in issues surrounding veganism and vegetarianism can be tough; not only is exploring the truth behind the animal agriculture industry extremely distressing, but it is also not uncommon that going against the grain of society can result in some backlash, sometimes even from our closest family and friends. Not only does VegSoc provide a source of engaging education and involvement in the plant-based community, but it also offers a form of mentorship and support since many of us have faced similar challenges.

Get (re-)settled into London with our evening walking tour featuring the VegSoc committee’s favourite spots around campus to grab a bite to eat! 🍽️ Come hungry and get ready to discover some new local faves. You’ll be sure to make new friends along the way! 💚

The route covers around 1.8 miles and will take around 2 hours to complete.

Please book a free ticket to get the meeting location and so we can have an idea of how many people will attend. See you there! ✨

• Even if you haven’t been able to attend events due to timetabling clashes, we would still love to see members nominate themselves!

All positions are open for nomination:

President, Treasurer, Welfare Officer, Activites Officer and Newsletter Officer ☀️

If you have any questions about these positions please do message us or catch the specific committee member of the role you are interested in at a Veggie Lunch (details in WhatsApp groupchat)

• You’ll have lots of support from the current committee with onboarding so a nice smooth transition would be guaranteed if you were to put yourself forward and be successful 😁
