Hare Krishna! 🙏

By the blessings of Srila Prabhupada and Sri Krishna,
Dr. Kalakantha Dasa, Unit President, *Akshaya Patra UK, had the honour of receiving, on behalf of the charity, an Award of Honour for Community Service at the FISI UK Golden Jubilee, recognising service to children and communities here in the UK.

This service stands on the visionary compassion of Srila Prabhupada, who, after seeing children fight with street dogs over scraps of food, resolved that no one within a ten‑mile radius of his centres should go hungry.

Inspired by Srila Prabhupada’s desire, his disciples Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa and Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa established The Akshaya Patra Foundation, turning that call into a practical movement that supports food and education for millions of children.

India Heritage Foundation London is honoured to serve in this spiritual lineage, sharing Srila Prabhupada’s teachings through educational and cultural programmes in the UK for adults, young people and children.

We are grateful to FISI UK for this recognition and for their continued service to the community.

May this recognition inspire us to continue serving with humility, gratitude and care. 🪔
