🔻 Fireflies Cancer Awareness for Inclusive Dance Classes
✔ 3 hours of time-valued CPD
This workshop introduces dance teachers to inclusive approaches that support the safe participation of people living with and beyond cancer within regular dance classes. The workshop emphasises a person-centred approach, recognising the variability of everyone’s experience and encouraging autonomy, dignity and enjoyment in movement.
🔻 Finding Inspiration – Choreography and Repertoire
✔ 2.5 hours of time-valued CPD
Moving beyond performance alone, this workshop explores how ballet repertoire can be enriched through historical, social, and cultural perspectives. Participants will discover ways to create more meaningful and holistic learning experiences for their dancers while fostering creativity and engagement.

🔻 Proprioceptive Awakenings
A practical workshop focused on improving body awareness, balance and movement confidence in older adult ballet classes through simple, safe sensory activation.
🔻 Community by Design
Creating belonging in every class is key and this workshop will focus in on strategies to build connection, confidence and consistency through your class structure and facilitation.
🔻 Mind Moves: Motor Imagery
Explore how motor imagery can enhance technique, balance, co-ordination and artistic expression in older adult ballet classes through guided examples.

Join Dr Nathan James and Alex Lowe, Deputy Artistic Directors, to find out more about the new Musical Theatre syllabus. There will be a short presentation, followed by a question and answer session. This is a great opportunity to discuss this new RAD offering and to be given guidance on how to begin delivering Musical Theatre classes and examinations. The coffee morning will be 1 hour Independent CPD.
