SNoM is non profit organisation working towards Gender Justice, Generation Equality, Women Empowerment and Youth Development.

We aim to create a global network of women & girls, so together we can raise our voices against injustice & discrimination. We have a clear Vision, that intends to create a better world, free from all kinds of violence & discrimination. Our Mission is to help women gain confidence and step into their power, so they can go after what they want without any kind of discrimination. We believe that wom

en & girls can reshape the future by raising their voices. Women & girls need to come together to build a world that is diverse and inclusive. There are biases against women, that are still ingrained in our community, in our society and at our work places. We need to raise our voices to free ourselves from the bo***ge of the stereotype. Women together can actively create a more sustainable world based on human values, compassion and collaboration. We must do our best to help people free themselves from stress, depression and compulsive or addictive behaviours that sabotage and work against their success and wellbeing both emotionally and mentally and make their life’s unmanageable. If we really want to make change happen then we must create lasting solutions to overcome inequality and advance human rights.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone for making this year such a remarkable success for SNoM!

It has been a truly fantastic year and what a wonderful way to bring it to a close. We came together to enjoy a delightful Christmas meal and reflect on all that we have achieved.

Amid the celebrations, we also shared exciting plans for the year ahead. Keep an eye on this space for new opportunities to get involved and for the launch of new programmes that are designed to empower you with skills, confidence and safe spaces to speak up, be heard and take action.

We at Silent No More, are proud to stand in support of this year’s 16 Days of Activism, underscoring the call to end all forms of gender-based violence, including the rising tide of digital abuse facing women and girls.

By aligning with the theme “UNITE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls”, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting safer, more inclusive online spaces, advocating for stronger protections and amplifying the voices of those affected.

Backing this global effort reflects our belief that every woman and girl deserves to live free from fear, discrimination and harm — whether in the physical world or online.

16 Days of Activism offers a powerful moment to focus attention on the urgency of ending all forms of violence against women and girls. Online spaces should be places of connection, expression, and opportunity — not arenas for harassment, exploitation or silencing.

Highlighting that one in three women worldwide experience violence is a stark reminder that this is not an isolated issue but a global crisis demanding sustained commitment, stronger protections and meaningful cultural change.

Marking the campaign from 25 November to 10 December 2025 is an opportunity to amplify survivors’ voices, support organisations working on the front line, challenge harmful behaviours and push for safer digital environments for every woman and girl.

By standing together, we can help build a world where rights are upheld, dignity is respected and safety is the norm — both online and offline.

💥We are proud to have partnered with Minova Mental Health Fellowship in training Cohort 2, on the global context of mental health and gender-based violence (GBV).

Being part of this important initiative has been an incredible opportunity to engage with a diverse group of changemakers from around the world, all committed to advancing mental wellbeing and addressing GBV in their communities.

We are deeply grateful 🙏to Minova Mental Health Fellowship, for including us as a training partner and for recognising the importance of collaborative, trauma-informed approaches in global advocacy.

International Women's Day holds immense importance for advancing gender equality, serving as a global platform to celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness of ongoing inequalities and advocate for change.

As we mark Beijing+30, offers a pivotal moment to reflect on progress made, acknowledge persisting challenges, and renew commitments to the principles established in Beijing.

The declaration outlined critical areas for action, including women's rights in education, healthcare, employment, political participation and freedom from violence.

While significant strides have been made, issues such as the gender pay gap, underrepresentation in leadership roles and pervasive gender-based violence continue to impede true equality.

We need to raise our voices and call on governments, organisations and individuals to accelerate progress towards gender parity.

By championing equality not only honours the legacy of the Beijing Platform for Action but also ensures that gender equality remains a central focus of global development agendas.

What a fantastic start to the New Year!🤩Our fundraiser dinner was a resounding success, attended by our cherished Partners, Sponsors, Volunteers, and Friends.

Guests savoured the delicious hot food, desserts, salads, and an exquisite cheese board, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed 🥗🥧🫕

The carefully selected film 🎬 we showcased highlighted the vital work that SNoM is committed to.

The movie delved into the grim realities of gender-based violence, encompassing sexual abuse, mental and psychological trauma, as well as the socio-economic and religious pressures faced within communities.

The message resonated deeply with our audience—underscoring that these injustices persist in our societies. As individuals and as a collective, we have a choice: to turn a blind eye or to stand up, fight for justice, and work to eradicate these vices that leave lasting mental, emotional, and physical scars.

On Day 16 of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, Silent No More (SNoM) emphasises the critical connections between human rights and fostering a culture of peace to end gender-based violence, drawing on the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agendas, as well as UN Human Rights Council resolution 55/17.

The pillars of peace and security, development, and human rights form the foundation of the United Nations system and are deeply interconnected and mutually reinforcing.

Advancing a culture of peace is inseparable from the effort to eliminate the various forms of violence faced by women and girls.

Such violence represents a grave violation of human rights, making the promotion of human rights and a culture of peace essential prerequisites for eradicating all forms of violence against women and girls.
