Maharashtra Mandal London was delighted and deeply honoured to participate in the celebrations marking the 🇮🇳80th Independence Day of India🇮🇳, organised by the Indian diaspora in the UK in association with the High Commission of India.
Representing the state of Maharashtra, we served freshly prepared, authentic Vada Pav at our stall. The tremendous response was truly heart-warming, our stall emerged as the event’s biggest crowd-pullers, with long and lively queues continuing throughout the day. It was both a pleasure and a moment of immense pride to share a much-loved taste of Maharashtra with thousands of attendees.
Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage also came alive on stage as performers from Maharashtra Mandal London delivered a terrific presentation set to the beats of traditional Lavani and Marathi folk music. Their energy and talent were met with thunderous applause and enthusiastic cheers from the thousands gathered to watch the performances.
We sincerely thank everyone who visited our stall, supported our performers and joined us in celebrating this proud and memorable occasion.
