The oldest Cypriot association in the UK, founded in 1934, with our own premises in Barnet

The original aims of the Brotherhood were to provide cultural, educational and moral support to the first Cypriot immigrants to Britain. People could go to the Brotherhood to get advice and help on settling into Britain. The Brotherhood also organised English classes for the initial Cypriot immigrants and then the first Greek schools for the generations born outside of Cyprus. As the needs of the Cypriot community and Cyprus have changed, so have the aims and campaigns of the Brotherhood. It now dedicates a large part of its resources to activities aimed at a fair solution of the island’s continued occupation following the invasion by Turkey in 1974. It also hosts a number of cultural and educational events, including free monthly lectures by the University of Cyprus. The Brotherhood purchased its own premises in 1996 in North London from Barnet Council. The premises are used as a base for all its activities and are used for meetings and other functions. These premises are not only used by the Brotherhood but also the wider community, including the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK.

We honour our homeland, our heritage and our people, and look forward to a peaceful, prosperous and united Cyprus for future generations.

🎬 Our Summer Garden Party — the highlights!

More than 200 friends of the community, one incredible afternoon, and so many people who helped make it happen. 💙

A special shoutout to the fantastic local businesses and contributors who helped make the day so memorable:

🍯 — bringing a taste of Cyprus with authentic Cypriot honey

📚 — celebrating our language and culture through Greek and English books
🧵 — showcasing their beautiful handmade textiles
🎨 — capturing our guests with live hand-drawn caricatures
👂 — providing free audiology examinations
🍦 — generously keeping everyone cool with free ice cream!

And, of course, a huge thank you to the talented for a fantastic live performance ahead of representing Cyprus at Junior Eurovision! 🇨🇾🎤

To every stall holder, contributor, volunteer and everyone who came through our doors — thank you for making the Garden Party what it was. Supporting our community, our businesses and our culture is what days like this are all about. 💙

What a fantastic day at our Annual Summer Garden Party, which welcomed over 200 friends of the community ☀️

From delicious Cypriot food and market stalls to music, laughter and community spirit, it was wonderful to welcome so many families and friends to the Greek Cypriot Brotherhood for an afternoon of celebration and togetherness 💙
