That's us! Just before St Pancras station was built and 50 years before our scout group got going, this is what our neighbourhood looked like 🤓
St Pancras before the station (1865)
This map was published just before the London terminus arrived and obliterated a number of former streets: Brewer Street, Skinner Street and various side streets disappeared. Also for the chop was the original site for Brill Market, one of the notable Victorian-era markets of London.
Another notable victim was most of St Pancras Churchyard.
