It's Refugee Week. How is your church or group marking it?

Over the week, we'll share some ideas and inspiration from our Member Churches and partner organisations.

From the Catholic Bishops' Conference (England and Wales), Bishop Paul Bishop McAleenan said: β€œTo see the humanity and dignity of every person requires the courage to reach out and welcome refugees, resisting those voices which seek to sow fear or division in our communities. They are our brothers and sisters, made in the image of God.”

Congratulations to Bishop Dr Esme Beswick MBE, who received the Outstanding Ecumenical Leadership Award on behalf of Churches Together in England at the Ministers' Appreciation Ball on Saturday.

Bishop Esme was CTE President between 2002 and 2006.
