This May, for Mental Health Awareness Month, our team headed out to Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre to do what we believe in, bringing support to where people already are, rather than waiting for them to come to us.
We set up our stall, handed out information on free local services, and had real conversations with people passing through their day. Some stopped for a leaflet. Some stopped for a chat. Some just needed to know that help exists nearby.
A huge thank you to the Deputy Security Manager and his manager at Ealing Broadway for welcoming us, supporting the stall and making space for these conversations. Community work like this only happens when people open their doors.
And thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers, including Michael Alexander, whose photography tells this story so beautifully.
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse or housing pressures, please reach out. We're here, free, and confidential all year round.
