We are pleased to inform you that on 16th April 2026, we will be hosting a special event to honour a distinguished teacher, politician, and dedicated welfare organiser. Born and raised in Barokut, she has shown exceptional commitment and leadership, and is currently a Candidate for Member of Parliament for Mid Fife and Glenrothes representing the Scottish Labour Party — Afifa Khanom.
We warmly invite all members of the Barokut Welfare Association UK to attend this event and join us in recognising and celebrating her achievements.
