Across the UK, men are finding new ways to connect and talk about their mental health - backed by £80 million of National Lottery funding.

Our latest story explores what that looks like on the ground, from walking football sessions to the Manbassadors network in Greater Manchester, where sports clubs and even barbers act as the first point of contact for life-changing intervention and support.

Thanks to National Lottery players, £30 million is raised each week for good causes, helping power projects like these every day.

Alfityanu Humanitaire UK – A Lasting Gift to the People of Senegal

We are proud to announce the successful completion and official handover of a newly built hospital in Kaolack Region, Department of Nioro du Rip, Senegal, delivered by Alfityanu Humanitaire International.

This hospital has been constructed as part of our commitment to improving access to quality healthcare and strengthening community wellbeing. Following completion, the facility has been formally handed over to the Senegalese government and local communities, entirely free of charge, to ensure long-term public benefit and sustainability.

The handover ceremony, captured in the photos below, marks a significant milestone. It reflects the power of humanitarian action, strong community collaboration, and our shared belief that access to healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our donors, partners, volunteers, and the local authorities whose collective support made this project possible. Together, we have delivered a facility that will serve generations to come and contribute meaningfully to improved health outcomes in the region.

Alfityanu Humanitaire UK remains committed to serving humanity with dignity, transparency, and impact.
