As Chairman of Guyhealth ( UK), formed 32 years ago to provide voluntary support to Guyana’s health services, a multi birthdays celebratory trip to Guyana 9th -18th October, afforded the opportunity to see the wonderful developments in the country, meet some colleagues who have been leading in the developments, others whom I have met virtually for several years, and the Head of Diaspora Unit who has strengthened the link between Guyana and members of the U.K. Guyanese diaspora. Opportunity was also taken in appropriate meetings to present my book Recycling a Son of the British Raj and take away an urgent priority task for Guyhealth(UK) & Associates to pursue. Pics below

Happy Windrush Day. Coincidentally great meeting folks from that generation & descendants at Indo-Caribbean Clay & Conversation celebrations yesterday at V&A museum in London and seeing the outcome of workshops led by the effervescent Jacqui Ramrayka, and her band of enthusiastic participants . A tremendous joy, much heritage discussion in between tackling quenching & delicious ‘punch& buss up shut’ 🇬🇾🇹🇹🇬🇧Thanks all pleasant evening
