Our message about Professor Jason Arday

24/06/2026

29% of Black women experience common mental health issues — yet we’re the least likely to finish NHS talking therapies. 🖤

Our pain is real. Our healing matters. It’s time to ask why the system isn’t working for us — and change that.

If you’ve been let down or feel unheard, you’re not alone. Let’s keep talking, supporting, and demanding better care.

🔁 Share to raise awareness.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re sharing a truth that needs more attention:
📊 29% of Black women experience a common mental health disorder — yet far too many suffer in silence without access to culturally competent care.

To our Black women: your struggles are real, your feelings are valid, and you deserve support that sees all of you. 💜

You don’t have to carry the weight alone. Healing is possible, and it starts with reaching out.

👉 Visit our website (link in bio) to find resources, community, and tailored support for your mental health journey.
