** update: no rescue offers received yet so please keep sharing. We are not a rescue or rehoming organisation so we cannot provide rbu and therefore we will not recommend a direct rehome. Obviously the decision is his owners but we are only seeking a rescue space at this time. Thank you all. **
Urgent rescue space needed for a beautiful dog aged nearly 2.
Situation is becoming urgent so a place is needed immediately.
Owner will willingly pay to have him neutered and his first set of jabs, they just want him to be happy and safe.
He will be 2 in September, he’s not neutered and his injections ran out in June (due to the vets saying they couldn’t do it because he was to anxious! He went in for it 3 or 4 different times!)
The reason he needs rehoming is because he has become too attached to his owner and is very jealous of her 7 year old. She goes to her dads and he seems worse when she comes home, he growls at her when she walks past and doesn’t like it when she’s close to her mum.
He’s house trained, very loving and good when told to leave. He will sit and wait for his food until you tell him he can have it.
He’s ok with other dogs and walks well on lead and does live with an indoor rabbit that’s he’s fine with.
They had a behavioural therapist out who said it’s anxiety not aggression with him but his behaviour towards the child in the home means he’s being shut off from the rest of the house and that’s just no good.
Situation is desperate now as the person who walks him and feeds him is due surgery and will be out of action for 6 months.
He’s a Ridgadoo ( ridgeback x labradoodle)
