Stepney, you absolutely smashed it!! 💚🌧️

Apologies for the delay in sharing the stats from last Saturday’s litter pick - I was literally still speechless…

An incredible 18 volunteers showed exactly what Stepney’s Washwombles are made of. The rain didn’t stop - and neither did the bags coming in!

We welcomed 4 new volunteers (some even travelling all the way from Stratford 🙌), familiar faces reunited and that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

Together we collected an amazing 112.43kg of litter - filling 28 bags plus 16 NOS canisters 👏

As always, we wrapped it up with a cosy chat over hot drinks and some nice bikkies ☕🍪

Thank you, every single one of you - Stepney spirit at its best 💚✨

Don’t forget: our next litter pick is on 7 March!

Wishing all our litter pickers a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year 🎄✨ Hope you have a cheerful festive season!

Thank you all for your dedication and hard work this year - you’ve been truly amazing 💚
Already looking forward to the New Year!

Please note: there won’t be a litter pick in January, and we’ll be back refreshed in February.
