🇮🇳✨ OFBJP UK – London Celebrates 47th Foundation Day ✨🇮🇳
Overseas Friends of BJP UK – London proudly marked the 47th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The celebrations began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial diya, followed by a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram by Pooja Bhanot, setting a respectful and inspiring tone. A key highlight of the event was a thoughtfully curated exhibition on Integral Humanism, reflecting the ideological foundations of the party.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Shishir Bajoria Ji and Lord Rami Ranger Ji. Also present were Satish Sharma Ji, Suresh Mangala Giri Ji, former OFBJP UK President Dr Ambekar Ji, Kuldeep Shekhawat JI, and many other distinguished guests.
During the programme, UK Convenor Bikram Banerjee Ji officially launched the organisation’s new website and announced a digital membership drive to further strengthen outreach within the diaspora. He also shared the vision and roadmap ahead, emphasising unity, cultural connection, and the role of the Indian diaspora in enhancing India–UK relations.
The event was eloquently hosted by Dr Gyan Sharma Ji, with the vote of thanks delivered by Chinu Kishore Ji.
A special appreciation goes to the dedicated core team members — Shashikant Patel Ji, Hirdesh Gupta Ji, Rajesh Viswakarma Ji, Raaj Devarapu Ji, Deepak Patel JI— along with numerous committed karyakartas whose efforts made the event a grand success.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, reflecting unity, dedication, and the unwavering spirit of OFBJP in the United Kingdom.
