Elevate Northampton is officially underway!  

58 students have taken their first step on their Elevate journey, joining us for our first session in partnership with Barclays UK

From building stronger CVs and recognising their own skills to hearing real career stories and meeting Elevate alumni, the day was all about helping students build confidence, develop new skills and discover what they could achieve.  

We were joined by Elevate alumni Harry and Kiara, who shared their own journeys and experiences. Hearing directly from former participants was a brilliant reminder of what’s possible and the difference Elevate can make. 

There were plenty of questions, conversations and opportunities to learn — and this is just the beginning.

Last Christmas 2025, our community came together.

Before we start talking about this year’s Christmas Appeal 2026, we wanted to look back at what happened when so many people chose to give their time, energy and support.

700+ gifts wrapped
120 families supported
30 individuals supported
25+ volunteers involved
£5,000+ raised

From warm clothing and food hampers to toys, books and personal care packages, every gift was carefully prepared to bring a little extra comfort, dignity and festive joy.

But the numbers only tell part of the story. The real story was people coming together.

Volunteers giving their time. Businesses supporting their community. Donations being turned into thoughtful gifts. And a room full of people working together to make Christmas a little brighter for others.

A huge thank you to , , , , Stock Exchange (LSEG), and Risk Consulting for supporting last year’s initiative.

It was a brilliant reminder of what can happen when we come together with generosity and purpose.

And now…We’re getting ready to do it all over again.

New place. New people. New possibilities. 🚀

Our 2026/27 Elevate London cohort had an incredible opportunity to visit New Scotland Yard — and experience a working environment very different from the classroom.

From hearing career insights from senior Metropolitan Police professionals to exploring specialist areas including forensics, traffic policing and fi****ms, the students got to see just how many different career pathways exist within one organisation.

And yes… they even met the mounted officers and their horses! 🐴
But the biggest takeaway was about more than careers.
It was confidence.

✨ Asking questions
✨ Meeting new people
✨ Exploring unfamiliar environments
✨ Discovering new possibilities
✨ Starting to see what could be possible for their own future

That’s the heart of Elevate.

Through Career Preparation, Personal Growth and Workplace Integration, we give young people experiences that help them build confidence, develop new skills and connect what they learn with the world of work.

And this is only the beginning of their six-month Elevate journey.

Big conversations, honest reflections, and a lot of excitement for what’s ahead.
We recently got the team together to talk through where we’re going and how we grow from here.
It’s not just about getting bigger — it’s about building the right partnerships and creating real impact.
