Hello, Freshwater contacted us to ask: "The heating is due to be turned off on Monday however with everyone at home I wondered if you could quickly canvas some opinion from those in the group who benefit from it.

We only have the REST of today to reply! Any thoughts?

FYI - The only issue in delaying it will be an increase in cost as the supplier, Newcombustion, usually do 2 or 3 other Freshwater sites on the same day.

Please all note that the consultation period in which to reply in writing to Freshwater formally about the proposed MAJOR works is the 5th March 2020. Please re-read their letter and respond ASAP. We feel that we must be included in the decision making process of the final look and feel of our building. We must question Freshwater's ability to deliver an on time/on budget project after the disastrous lift project. And we must raise questions about the new power supply to each unit - as it may mean that each unit is required to have a full inspection and risk disconnection until a full rewire has been completed.

Clare Court residents who have been following Camden Councils consultation process concerning Judd Street will be aware the controversial decision to close the road to traffic from the Euston Road has been vigorously opposed. This week flyers appeared in the lobby of the building updating us on the progress of this action.

According to the letter ‘…… closure of Judd Street to all motor traffic at the point that it joins the Euston Road ….. access for cyclists and emergency vehicles will be retained’.

The letter details this joint Camden Council/TFL initiative which will see the creation of a new pedestrian crossing on the ‘western arm of Euston Road/Judd Street/Midland Road junction’. Additional cycling lanes will also be provided on Midland Road.

We would like to invite all Clare Court residents to attend our General Meeting. The meeting will take place at the Marchmont Centre (5 minutes walk from Clare Court) 7:30pm Monday April 23rd. Residents are invited to submit agenda items for the meeting.

The Heating always gets switched back on in the building 1st October....

Seems that our "management" company have managed to forget us in the haze of their holidays. .
