Dear Earth 2 Players,
We hope all is well and that you are keeping safe.
What a year 2021 has been for E2, exciting in many ways and challenging in others.
Since our initial hyper-growth phase we have released some exciting features which will become fundamental in the future of the Earth 2 Metaverse. Those features include:
● The Mentar,
● E-ther,
● Essence,
● EPLs,
● Jewels,
● Crafting,
● Holobuildings and more.
Each of these features were designed and released with the interests of our founding players in mind, and to display our strong belief and commitment to User Generated Content and Creativity, which we plan to support and nurture inside the Earth 2 ecosystem now and into the future.
If 2021 was about the discovery of a vibrant Earth 2 community and the challenges of hyper-growth, we want 2022 to be about collaboration, creativity, utility, sustainable growth, player engagement, and player rewards.
Collaboration: creating a community and environment where players are engaged and work together to achieve goals.
Creativity: where we support the creativity of our players with new tools and introducing mechanisms to enable User Generated Content to be openly traded and sold, benefiting the creators themselves.
Utility on number of different levels, including further utilization of Essence, Jewels, Holobuildings and soon to be released Resources.
Sustainable growth: where we focus on manageable growth and regular engaging with our passionate community.
Engagement, meaning new ways players can not only engage with Earth 2 but also ways they can engage with each other, especially with regards to Earth 2’s very own social media and messaging platform we plan to release next year.
Rewards: Now to talk more about the big reward we referred to announcing this month. We wanted to retrospectively reward those who have believed in our vision, bought land and held it during our maiden year. In a way, we have already been doing this quietly with increased rates of the distribution of E-ther, Essence and Jewels – but we wanted to finish with a bang!
The reward will be a world wide Earth 2 air drop of Essence to all existing land owners! This is a true retrospective reward in that it was not promised, nor publicly scheduled and players will not have to pay anything extra for it. We feel the significance of this reward will become even more apparent over time, and yes, you’re right.
The drop will take place randomly over the next 7 days and players will be able to see the results appear inside their accounts once it has been deployed. Earth 2 will release another announcement explaining more details around the deployment, which will include other web updates, and what it all means for Earth 2 and it’s players!
Though this brings our anniversary month to an end, we have more exciting news scheduled for release throughout December, including a partnership, an acquisition, new key team hires and a dev blog video!
