The sun is out, the day is done, but the learning continues. ☀️☕

Tonight at the Bloom Coffee Academy, Derek is hosting a hands-on machine training session with our baristas and FIKA Legends — exploring the technical side behind great coffee, from understanding equipment performance to building confidence behind the bar.

What makes this even more special is that this is after work, with team members choosing to invest their own time into learning, developing, and growing together.

That mindset is what makes hospitality stronger. 🤎

🤩Finalist at the UK Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.🙌

Today, Anne Knight, our Head Barista, Mixologist and Coffee Trainer — stepped onto the stage and earned her place among the finalists. (.nneknight)

Most people see the final result.
They don’t see the work behind it.

What showed today was the outcome of consistency, focus and a real commitment to the craft.

It’s the same standard Anne brings into our sites every day, and into the way she supports and develops others through our Bloom Coffee Academy.

We’re incredibly proud of you, Anne 👏

Proud moment for our team 👏

Huge congratulations to Derek Buckley on being selected as a judge for the Irish Brewers Cup Championship 2026 🇮🇪☕

As our Head of Coffee Development & Training, Derek sets the standard across everything we do — from competition-level excellence to the way every cup is crafted across our sites.

His impact goes beyond the stage. Through Bloom Coffee Academy, he’s helping shape the next generation of baristas while raising the bar for what great coffee should be.

This is what world-class looks like.

We’re incredibly proud to have this level of expertise leading our coffee vision.

Let’s go 🔥
