From creating a memory box and memorial garden, to writing down memories, fundraising in his honour and simply continuing to say his name, her reflections are a reminder that there is no right or wrong way to remember someone you love.

Thank you, Niaomi, for sharing! We know this blog will help many others approaching Father's Day 💙

Jack's latest blog explores something that isn't often talked about in grief spaces, why summer can sometimes feel harder than winter ☀️

While many people associate sunshine, holidays and longer days with happiness, grief doesn't always follow the seasons. For Jack, summer has often amplified feelings of loss and comparison, from watching others make memories with loved ones to navigating social media's endless stream of holiday highlights.

Thank you, Jack, for sharing such a thoughtful and relatable perspective on grief, comparison and the realities of navigating loss during the summer months💙

Easy ways to support a young person who is grieving 💭

Grief doesn't have to be uncomfortable and taboo. Being there to talk about it openly can be so helpful and allows people to feel less isolated in their grief journey!

We're delighted to welcome Lucy to the It’s Time volunteer team and to share her story 💭

We're so grateful that Lucy has chosen to volunteer with It’s Time, helping us create content and support other young adults who are navigating parent loss.

Thank you, Lucy, for sharing your story and for being part of our community 💙

Grief isn’t just sadness and full of moments no one talks about 💭

It changes over time, shifts your outlook, and can show up in ways you didn’t expect. You don’t have to “get over it” or have it all figured out, just let yourself feel it, in your own way.

What are some things that you experienced that no one talks about? Leave them in the comments ☁️

Off Campus and grief 👀💭

Through characters like Allie and Garrett, Off Campus shows how losing a parent can shape the way we view love, relationships, and family. But what stood out most wasn't just the grief storyline itself, it was how openly it was discussed.

The characters are given space to talk about the people they've lost, and their friends meet those conversations with empathy rather than discomfort. It's a reminder that grief doesn't simply disappear; it becomes part of us and continues to influence how we connect with others.

What are your thoughts on how Off Campus handles grief? 💭📚

Today we’re sharing Nat’s story 💭

As he approaches two years since losing his mum, Nat reflects on what it means to carry grief alongside everyday life. Written as a letter to his mum, Lorna, his story explores the moments where her absence is felt most, from major milestones to the quiet, ordinary moments he wishes he could still share with her.

Nat writes so honestly about their relationship, the comfort of her presence, and how deeply she continues to shape his life. Thank you, Nat, for sharing such a personal piece with our community. We know so many people will relate to the experience of missing a parent in both the big moments and the small ones 💙
