During his visit to Bangladesh, Alhajj Zuber Ahmed Laskar, Founder and Chairman of the Chowdhury & Laskar Trust, presented a courtesy copy of PORIBORTON Magazine to Dr. Mustafa Shahzaman Chowdhury (Bahar), owner of the Language Movement veteran Matin Uddin Ahmed Memorial Museum in Sylhet.

The meeting was warm and friendly, with discussions on literature, history, heritage, and community welfare.

During his visit to Bangladesh, a friendly meeting was held where the courtesy copy of ‘Poriborton’ magazine was presented to the renowned writer and social worker Dewan A. H. Mahmud Raja Chowdhury by the Founder & Chairman of Chowdhury and Laskar Trust, Zuber Ahmed Laskar.

His prayers and kind wishes will inspire the future activities of the Trust.

The Millennium Dome (The O2)

A complimentary copy of PORIBORTON Magazine, published by the Chowdhury and Laskar Trust, was presented today to Enamul Haque Munna, General Secretary of Zakiganj Press Club and journalist, by ATM Nasir, a well-wisher of the Trust and social worker.

Mr. Munna appreciated the publication and expressed his best wishes for this initiative. He noted that PORIBORTON can help promote social awareness, preserve history and heritage, and inspire the younger generation through knowledge and education.

On the River Thames in London, there is a famous structure called the Thames Barrier. It controls water during high tide and storms, helping to protect the city from flooding.

On one side is Isle of Dogs and on the other side is Canary Wharf—two important modern areas of London.

The whole area along the River Thames is a great example of nature and modern engineering working together.

সততা ও দায়িত্ববোধ: একটি সুন্দর সমাজের ভিত্তি

সততা ও দায়িত্ববোধ—এই দুটি গুণ একটি সভ্য, সুন্দর ও স্থিতিশীল সমাজ গঠনের মূল ভিত্তি। ব্যক্তি জীবনে সততা যেমন মানুষের চরিত্রকে মহৎ করে তোলে, তেমনি দায়িত্ববোধ তাকে সমাজের প্রতি আরও সচেতন ও গ্রহণযোগ্য করে তোলে।

সততা শুধু সত্য বলা নয়, বরং প্রতিটি কাজ, সিদ্ধান্ত ও আচরণে ন্যায় ও স্বচ্ছতাকে ধারণ করা। একজন সৎ মানুষ নিজের স্বার্থের চেয়ে নৈতিকতাকে অগ্রাধিকার দেন, যা দীর্ঘমেয়াদে বিশ্বাস ও সম্মান অর্জনের পথ তৈরি করে।

অন্যদিকে, দায়িত্ববোধ মানুষকে তার পরিবার, সমাজ ও কর্মক্ষেত্রের প্রতি আরও যত্নশীল ও সচেতন করে তোলে। একজন দায়িত্ববান মানুষ তার কাজ যথাযথভাবে সম্পন্ন করেন এবং অন্যের অধিকার ও কল্যাণের প্রতিও সচেতন থাকেন।

সততা ও দায়িত্ববোধ একে অপরের পরিপূরক। এই দুটি গুণের সমন্বয়ই ব্যক্তি, পরিবার ও সমাজকে ভারসাম্যপূর্ণ ও উন্নত করে তোলে। তাই আমাদের সবার উচিত জীবনের প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে এই নৈতিক মূল্যবোধগুলোকে ধারণ ও চর্চা করা।
