Last Wednesday, CCCS was pleased to distribute food packs to people in our community who needed support, including those experiencing homelessness, residents at the YMCA, and other individuals and families in need.

🍛 135 Lamb Biryani Packs
🥗 45 Veg Biryani Packs
🍬 40 dessert Packs

This meaningful distribution was made possible with the support of the The National Lottery Community Fund helping us provide warm meals and a little extra care to those who may be going through difficult times.

A heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated volunteers who gave their time, energy and compassion to help prepare and distribute the food. We are also deeply grateful to the and everyone whose support made this initiative possible.

As the school term comes to an end, Croydon Community Care Service was pleased to deliver our final food parcel bags before the summer break to a local school on 14 July 2026, supporting families and children who may be facing financial difficulties.

The parcels contained a selection of essential fresh vegetables, including potatoes, onions, carrots, beans, and other everyday food items to help families prepare nutritious meals at home.

With many families continuing to feel the impact of rising living costs, we hope these food parcels provide some practical support during the holiday period when children are away from school.

This initiative was made possible through the generous support of the The National Lottery Community Fund and the dedication of our wonderful volunteers. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all National Lottery players, whose contributions help fund community projects like ours and make a real difference to the lives of local families.

We are grateful to the school staff, volunteers, supporters, and everyone involved in helping us reach those most in need. We look forward to continuing our support when schools return after the summer holidays.

Hot meals, community support, and a helping hand for those who need it most 💚
Yesterday, Croydon Community Care Service delivered freshly prepared meals to members of the local community experiencing homelessness and hardship.
🍛 160 Chicken Biryani meals
🥗 50 Vegetable Biryani meals
🍮 40 portions of Zardaah (traditional sweet dessert)
This food distribution was made possible through the generous support of the National Lottery Community Fund , the dedication of our volunteers and community partners who helped ensure these meals reached those who needed them.
At a time when many people continue to face challenges, a warm meal can provide comfort, dignity, and a reminder that they are not alone. We are grateful to everyone who contributes to making these initiatives possible and helping us support vulnerable members of our community.
Together, we are building a stronger, kinder, and more inclusive community.

Fresh food, practical support, and community care 💚
On 18 June 2026, Croydon Community Care Service delivered food parcel bags to a local school for families with children who need extra support.
Each bag included everyday fresh vegetables such as potatoes, onions, carrots and beans, helping families make nourishing meals at home during a time when many household budgets are under pressure.
This delivery was made possible by the valued support of Community Fund, our funding body, alongside the time and commitment of our wonderful volunteers.
We are proud to work alongside local schools to ensure support reaches families in a respectful and accessible way. Thank you to everyone who helps turn generosity into practical help for our community.

On 17 June 2026, Croydon Community Care Service was proud to deliver and distribute hot meals to YMCA, our partner organisations, and other members of the local homeless community.

On 3rd June 2026, Croydon Community Care Service proudly delivered 25 food parcel bags to a local school to support families and children experiencing hardship within our community.

This With the ongoing cost-of-living crisis continuing to place pressure on household budgets, many families are struggling to afford essential food and everyday necessities. These food parcels, containing fresh produce such as potatoes, onions, carrots, beans, and other nutritious items, were provided to help ease some of that burden and ensure families have access to healthy meals.important initiative was made possible through the generous support of our funding body, The National Lottery Community Fund and the dedication of our amazing volunteers who gave their time and effort to help those in need.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this project a success.

On 27 May 2026, Croydon Community Care Service was pleased to deliver and distribute hot meals to members of the homeless community through YMCA and other local homeless members of community.

⭐️⭐️In total, we managed to serve;

🍛 130 Chicken Biryani meals
🥗 35 Vegetable Biryani meals
🍮 30 Zardaah (sweet dessert) portions

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this initiative possible. Including our valued funding body The National Lottery Community Fund, partners and dedicated volunteers team. Together, we continue to support vulnerable individuals in our community by providing not only food but also compassion, dignity, and hope.

We’re delighted to share that we have purchased our upcoming food parcel bags, which will be distributed this Monday by Croydon Community Care Service with the support of The National Lottery Community Fund

These parcels are small way of supporting individuals and families in our community who may be facing difficult times. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and contribute to this important work- together we can make a big difference ❤️

On 01 April 2026, Croydon Community Care Service proudly delivered hot, freshly cooked meals to support the homeless community, residents at YMCA, our partner Elmwood Infant School and families in need across borough. With help of our youth volunteers and supporters, we distributed:

🍚145 chicken biryani Packs
🥕🥦🍅35 vegetable Biryani
🥮30 Zardah (sweet rice)

Altogether, over 200 hot meals prepared and served with love, care and community spirit!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who continues to support us including The National Lottery, our volunteers and all who are supporting our mission. Together, we are making a real difference!

Our ongoing food bag deliveries continued today, 15/04/2026.

Twenty five food bags, each containing seven essential items were delivered to local school to support children and families most in need!
