476 million people across 90 countries — that is less than 5% of the global population. Yet:

1️⃣ They protect 80% of the planet's remaining biodiversity.
2️⃣ They speak the majority of the world's 7,000 languages.
3️⃣ Their territories cover 28% of Earth's land — and hold vast carbon stores.
4️⃣ Their knowledge isn't folklore. It's the blueprint for our survival.

💚 The Pulse of Green Cross UK: There is no just ecological transition without land titling, prior consultation and direct funding for Indigenous communities. Settling the historical debt to original peoples is also about securing everyone's future.

Through our Lazarus Initiative, Green Cross UK is restoring contaminated water bodies back to life — eliminating 99.9% of pathogens, reviving biodiversity, and giving communities a second chance.
