🌟 JCI London June Board Meeting Highlights! 🌟
Half of 2026 is already behind us, and our Board is focused on making the second half of the year even more impactful for our members and our city.
✅ We reflected on the first six months of 2026 – the events we’ve hosted, the projects we’ve launched, and the connections we’ve built to empower young people to create positive change in London.
✅ We reaffirmed our mission and vision: to provide development opportunities that empower young people, and to be the leading global network of young active citizens.
✅ We committed to keeping every event, meeting, and project intentional – developing leadership, building meaningful connections, and driving real community impact.
✅ As Board Members, we pledged to lead by example: staying proactive, supportive, and accountable so that each area of JCI London contributes to our shared success.
✅ We set our focus for the rest of 2026: to engage, inspire, and grow together – as individuals, as a team, and as a vibrant community of active citizens.
The message is clear: keep the JCI spirit alive. Be the change, empower others, and let your actions speak louder than words. Together, we’re building a JCI London that truly reflects impact, leadership, and collaboration in action.

What a fantastic evening at the JCI London Members’ Networking Event.
It was a true pleasure to bring together current members, past members, and prospective members for an evening of meaningful conversations, idea sharing, and connection. We were especially delighted to catch up with our Past Presidents and Senators, gaining valuable insights into the history and legacy of JCI London.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the effort to join us despite the Tube strikes. Your presence, energy, and engagement truly reflected the spirit of JCI and made the evening a great success.
We are excited to welcome new faces into our community and to continue growing together. With several exciting events planned in the coming months, we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Start your Saturday with fresh air, movement, and great company as JCI London joins Finsbury parkrun for a fun and energising morning together. Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, this is a welcoming way to connect with others and enjoy a shared fitness challenge.

📍 Assembly Point: The start point of Finsbury parkrun, located halfway up the west side of the park, by the café.

One pen can write a future. One book can open a world. One child can change a community.
Over the past weeks, JCI London was honoured to partner with JCIN FEDPOFFA for the “One Child, One Book, One Pen Project,” supporting pupils across five schools in Nigeria with essential learning materials and encouragement. Together with the JCIN FEDPOFFA team and volunteers on the ground, we helped equip young learners not only with books and pens, but also with the belief that their dreams and education matter.
The project went beyond donations: pupils received guidance, mentorship and inspiring messages about staying in school, building confidence and aiming higher for their future. Many of them shared their hopes and aspirations, reminding us why JCI’s mission to develop young leaders and create positive change is so important.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to JCIN FEDPOFFA for spearheading this impactful initiative and for welcoming JCI London as a partner in the 3.0 edition of the project. Huge appreciation also goes to every member, volunteer and supporter who contributed time, resources or expertise to make this possible.
This is just the beginning. JCI London will continue to collaborate with our international partners to support education and empower young people in Ghana, Nigeria and beyond. Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved in our upcoming “JCI London to Ghana and Nigeria” initiatives and help us turn more pens and pages into opportunities.

Step away from the usual networking scene and join us for a refreshing afternoon of connection, conversation, and countryside.
We’re heading out to Richmond Park for a relaxed 3–4 hour guided walk designed to help you meet fellow members in a natural, easygoing setting. Whether you're new or a regular, everyone is welcome. Disconnect from a busy city life, ground yourself in nature, and have deeper conversations without the pressure of formal networking.

JCI London is proud to co-organise the One Child, One Book, One Pen Project alongside our partners at JCIN Fedpoffa, who are graciously hosting this impactful initiative.
In our shared commitment to educational development, we are honoured to help reach 300 young learners across 5 schools in a single day, providing books, pens and hope where they are needed most. Every child reached is a story of possibility being rewritten, and every item given is a step towards dignity, opportunity and a brighter future.
Together with JCIN Fedpoffa, we are not just supporting education – we are restoring confidence, nurturing dreams and shaping lives, one child at a time.

What an inspiring World Heritage Day! 🌍✨
JCI London joined a truly global online celebration of World Heritage Day, hosted by JCI Damascus (Syria) and bringing together members and guests from across four continents.
The event had a warm, energetic and curious “global village” atmosphere – cameras on, smiles everywhere, and screens full of colours, landmarks and traditions. Participants from Makati (Philippines), Hammam Chatt (Tunisia), Quatre Bornes (Mauritius), Kelowna (Canada), Gweru (Zimbabwe), Lusaka (Zambia), Femnino Cochabamba (Bolivia), Catalonia (Spain), Beşiktaş (Türkiye), Senegal (Senegal), Germany (Germany), London (United Kingdom), Dhaka ACE (Bangladesh) and Damascus (Syria) shared their local heritage through stories, images, music and everyday customs that make each place unique.
Throughout the session, we exchanged perspectives on how heritage shows up in our daily lives – from historic neighbourhoods and traditional food, to language, festivals and crafts – and how these elements are being preserved and reimagined by young people in each country. We learned how cultural heritage can be both fragile and resilient, and how JCI members are using dialogue, volunteering and partnerships to protect what matters most in their communities.
For our members, the biggest takeaways were:
- A stronger sense that our local stories are part of a shared global narrative.
- Inspiration to design projects that connect heritage, tourism, education and youth leadership.
- New international friendships and collaboration ideas sparked in the chat and breakout discussions.
A huge thank you to JCI Damascus and all participating chapters for creating such a welcoming and insightful space for cultural exchange – and to everyone from JCI London who joined, shared and learned with us.
Let’s keep this energy going by continuing to explore other cultures, celebrate our own, and build projects that protect and promote heritage here in the UK and beyond.
