Leading women’s charity Soroptimist SIGBI has welcomed the announcement that the Government will be investing £5 million into Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) pilots – with the aim to improve support for domestic abuse victims – calling it a major step forward in supporting survivors.

We are delighted winners of the NAWO (National Alliance of Women's Organisations) 16 Days of Activism Award.

At a ceremony at the House of Lords yesterday, President Elect Kate Belinis accepted the award on behalf of all Soroptimists across our Federation.

"This award belongs to every club and every member who takes the 16 Days of Activism to heart. Your determination, your ideas, and your commitment to raising awareness and taking action continue to inspire year after year".
