Bronson Battersby died of starvation after his father suddenly passed away from a heart attack, leaving him alone without access to food or water in their home. A social worker contacted the father on December 27, 2023, and scheduled a visit for January 2, 2024. When there was no response, she alerted the police and made additional visits on January 4 and 9. Finally, with the help of the landlord, she managed to enter the home and discovered the bodies: young Bronson was found curled up at his father's feet. The investigation revealed that the man died from a sudden cardiac event, and the child showed clear signs of malnutrition and dehydration, although the exact timing of their deaths could not be determined.
