This weekend, colleague Clare Flatters, Service Manager for Gynaecology at University Hospital Lewisham, will be taking on the Ealing Half Marathon in aid of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity.

For Clare, this challenge is about much more than crossing the finish line. In her role within the Gynaecology Department at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, Clare sees first-hand the difference compassionate, high-quality care makes to patients and wanted to give something back through her fundraising efforts.

Clare said: "I am running the Ealing Half Marathon to support our Trust’s Women’s Health Services. I see every day the positive impact our services have on patients, and I wanted to give something back by taking on this challenge and raising funds for our Trust Charity."
