A huge thank you to the brilliant Abass Dodoo for leading an unforgettable Djembe drumming workshop yesterday. Funny, charismatic and endlessly engaging, Abass had everyone smiling, laughing and making music together within minutes. The garden was absolutely buzzing with rhythm!

Abass is the founder of One Drum Foundation, using drumming to bring communities together through the universal language of rhythm. If you haven’t already, do visit his wonderful drum museum on Haggerston Street – it’s a real hidden gem and well worth exploring.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and threw themselves into the beats. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Join us on Saturday 11th July, 2–3pm for a FREE Ghanaian drumming workshop led by master drummer Abass Dodoo from the One Drum Foundation.
