Week 2 of Brockwell Hall Children's Summer programme complete 💙✨

Last week we had eco-forward artist and botanical-dyeing devotee Zoe Burt teach drop-in workshops on sun & plant printing.

Children (and parents alike) produced gorgeous cyanotypes and hapa zome prints using flora from our Stable Block gardens.

For our first week, we had the talented guide budding young artists🧑‍🎨 on the process of collaborative mural-making using painting, tagging, and paste-up techniques 🖌️🫟🎨

With a focus on hand and nail care, our lovely attendees were shown how to nourish the part of our body’s that are perhaps the busiest and most often neglected: our hands! ✋ FREE for Over 50s Lambeth residents, running each WEDNESDAY from 12:30-2:30PM on 5, 12, & 19 August.

AUGUST WALKS FOR LAMBETH RESIDENTS 50+ 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️☀️

Make the most of August by joining us for another great programme of FREE guided walks. Get outdoors, enjoy some fresh air, discover new places, and spend time with others in your local community.

👟 Whether you’re a keen walker or simply looking to get out and about, there’s something for everyone this month.

August walks:
🌳 Tuesdays – Streatham Evening Walk
🌼 Thursdays – Brockwell Park Walk
🎨 Thursday 27 August – Two Temple Place Walk & Craft

📍 All walks are for Lambeth residents aged 50+
🗺 Mostly flat routes, around 2–4 miles each way

🥤 Free refreshments after every walk
👫 Come with a friend or meet new people along the way
🧢 Remember to bring a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water if it’s warm
