London is taking steps toward becoming an age friendly city for older people now and in the future. 💙

The Mayor’s Age Friendly Action Plan is already making a difference:

• Safer, more accessible streets and transport
• A major increase in specialist, adaptable housing
• Over £9 million in previously unclaimed Pension Credit now reaching older Londoners
• 64,000+ people gaining new digital skills each year
• 11 boroughs now part of the Age Friendly Communities network

From community hubs like Elders Voice in Brent to citywide improvements in transport, housing, and digital inclusion, London is moving toward a future where everyone can age with dignity, independence, and joy.

But there is lots more to be done and we can all be part of that.
