Nesan is not just organising a concert for a genocide enabler - he himself has openly supported the Sri Lankan government that massacred thousands of Tamil civilians. This footage uncovers him speaking against our maaveerar and freedom fighters, while backing the very regime that bombed Tamil schools, hospitals and No-Fire Zones.This is the type of individual we are dealing with - someone who profits off the Tamil community while siding with those who carried out a genocide against us. His decision to host Yohani, a singer who has glorified her genocide perpetrator father, only proves what we already know.. ‼️Nesan does NOT stand with Tamils. It is absolutely outrageous that the TAMIL venue, and TAMIL organiser, Nesan, is hosting a concert for Yohani - a singer who has openly glorified war crimes and her father’s role in the genocide of Tamil people. Her father, Major General Prasanna de Silva, was directly complicit in war crimes against Tamils, including: 🔻Shelling of Kathiraveli school in 2006, killing Tamil civilians - many of them children. 🔻Systematic bombings of No-Fire Zones, hospitals, UN facilities, and food distribution centres in Vanni, killing tens of thousands of Tamil civilians.🔻Use of internationally banned cluster munitions and white phosphorus to wipe out Tamil communities in the final months of the war. Yohani has written songs labelling Tamils as terrorists and praising her father’s brutal actions. ‼️SUPPORTING HER MEANS SUPPORTING GENOCIDE‼️It is beyond disgusting that and is profiting from this. 😡 We are calling on everyone to this concert. It is absolutely outrageous that the TAMIL venue, and TAMIL organiser, Nesan, is hosting a concert for Yohani - a singer who has openly glorified war crimes and her father’s role in the genocide of Tamil people.
