🛡️ Safeguarding isn't just for professionals—it's everyone's responsibility.
Most people won't ever have to deal with a serious incident, but knowing what to look out for and taking a few simple precautions can help keep children and vulnerable people safer.
✔️ Trust your instincts if something doesn't seem right. ✔️ Stay aware of your surroundings. ✔️ Keep an eye out for those who may need help. ✔️ Report suspicious behaviour to the appropriate authorities. ✔️ In an emergency, always call 999.
Sometimes, simply being present and paying attention can make all the difference.
If you'd like to play a more active role in helping protect your community, we'd love to hear from you.
