FoodBox is proud to be taking part in Volunteers' Week 2026 - marking 42 years of saying thank you to all Volunteers across the UK for everything they do for society.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our dedicated volunteers who have been supporting our community since FoodBox was set up in 2012. From the frontline team who pack food parcels and deliver to residents in need each week, to those who work effortlessly in the background to ensure the operational runs smoothly, your support is invaluable. We would also like to thank all our amazing supporters and valued Corporate Partners who have made such an incredible difference to so many residents.
If you are interested in helping your community, then why not get involved?! Here are our current volunteering opportunities:
➡️ Volunteer drivers needed - can you spare 2-3 hours one morning each week to deliver emergency food parcels to residents who cannot travel?
➡️ Join us at the Brickfield Community Garden this Summer to cultivate not just plants, but friendships and a healthier lifestyle. We're looking for keen gardeners to help maintain our allotment where we grow fresh organic fruit and vegetables to provide residents in need in the Borough. No experience necessary.
➡️ Fundraising volunteer - help FoodBox raise vital funds to ensure we can continue to provide our vital support to residents in need.
