BLOGUARY Day 6 of 13.

“Natural” isn’t an explanation. It’s a way of turning practice into personality and keeping the method secret.

This one’s about showing your workings: theory, action, reflection, and the small choices that build equity (or break it) when nobody’s paying attention.

BLOGUARY Day 1 of 13.

That phrase. The one we’ve heard in corridors and classrooms.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you.”

It gets explained away as behaviour. Or fixed with cultural awareness.

This blog asks a sharper question.
What if we’re just arguing over the culturally appropriate way to dominate children?

If you want the link, comment BLOGUARY and we’ll DM it to you.

We’ve been accused (fairly) of being a bit… direct in our blogs.

This one? Slightly softer. But still asking the question:
What kind of power are schools teaching young people to use?

We share the Equitree framework from our embedded pilot affirmation, community, critical thinking, and democracy, and what happened when students used it to reimagine their school rules.

Spoiler: they didn’t choose chaos. They chose fairness.

On the pitch, they’re a team.
Race, class, disability, gender… working together to create exclusion and harm.

Schools often treat these identities as separate challenges, but young people live them all at once.

"They collude to produce negative outcomes… but compete when we try to fix them.”

The system doesn’t understand intersectionality. That’s why our “solutions” fail.

When it comes to harm, identities collude to produce negative outcomes. But when it comes to “solutions,” they’re pitted against each other.

Who gets funding? Who gets policy attention? Who gets to be seen as worthy of support?

This isn’t about fixing young people—it’s about fixing systems.

This isn’t a takedown of Jamie Oliver.
It’s a takedown of the system that keeps platforming redemption arcs over real change.

Class 13’s latest blog looks at dyslexia, intersectionality, and why schools are still so easy to drown in.
